Climate

The climate is tropical in Burkina Faso, except in the north where the area is desert. The capital of Burkina Faso is Ouagadougou (located in the center of the country).
Annual precipitation water vary from 1000 mm to 1400 mm for a dry season from 4 to 5 months.

Relief

The terrain is not very high, Burkina Faso has many plateaus at an average altitude of 500 meters but the highest peak Tenakourou only peaked to 747 meters.

The fauna and flora

The Bukina Faso have several game reserves that combine safari and hunting: The Park of Arly, Park W, the Sahel Reserve, the Reserve Benin Pendjari and that Nazinga. It includes elephant, hippopotamus, buffalo, antelope, buffalo, buffon of cob, cob waterbuck, warthog but baboon mastiffs, patas, Callitriche, spotted hyena, aardvark, lion, leopard, crocodile, monitor lizard, python and a large bird.
Burkina Faso is also known for its floral diversity at the present stage of knowledge, the flora of Burkina Faso has 1054 species distributed in 510 genera and 123 families.
